Environmental Sustainability and Energy Efficiency


  • Construction of new warehouses with environmental sustainability criteria: BREEAM® Very Good Accreditation. BREEAM® The Sustainable Construction Certificate.
  • Adaptation of existing warehouse park to obtain BREEAM in-use certification.
  • Retrofitting of existing warehouses for improved energy efficiency:
    • Installation of solar panels. We offer our tenants the opportunity of self-consumption of the energy generated on the rooftops of the buildings.
    • LED lighting.
    • Ceiling insulation.
    • Exterior paint with colours that have a TSR (Total Solar Reflectance) value greater than 30%. A higher TSR value for a colour means greater reflection of solar radiation and therefore less heating required for walls and roof surface.
  • Maintenance of landscaped areas.

Social commitment to the community of the territory


  • We are dedicated to sharing our success with the community of the territory where we operate. Therefore, we are committed to investing 1% of our revenue to support social projects.
  • Our focus is primarily on projects that support children and youth in vulnerable situations, as well as projects that provide support in career pathways for young people in the fields of construction and logistics.
  • We collaborate with established social organisations with a solid track record and expertise in the mentioned areas of support.
  • During 2023, we donated €20,000 to the Reir Foundation (Vallès Oriental), Main Foundation (Vallès Occidental), and Salut Alta Foundation (Badalona).
  • Our commitment for 2024 is to donate €25,000.

Good governance, responsible management, and compliance with regulations


We are committed to responsible management, which we embody through:

  • Direct and personalized communication with our clients.
  • Adhering to legal frameworks in all areas, including legal, fiscal, labour, contractual, etc.
  • Choosing suppliers from our region (over 95% of our suppliers are based in the province of Barcelona).
  • Timely payment to all our suppliers within 60 days.
  • Fulfillment of Tax Obligations. In 2022, we remitted over €400,000 in IS, IBI, and IRPF, adhering to our tax obligations with the public administrations of municipalities, the Generalitat, and the AEAT. In 2023, our remittances for these same obligations exceeded €503,000.
  • The effective corporate tax rate (IS) paid by the company is 25%.
  • The shareholders of Nausbcn 1989 S.L. are individuals from the region who fulfil their tax obligations as citizens of Catalonia.
  • We have a salary policy that surpasses the collective agreement.
  • We offer flexible working hours and opportunities for work-life balance.
