Environmental Sustainability and Energy Efficiency


  • Construction of new buildings following environmental sustainability criteria: Breeam Very Good or Breeam Excellent Accreditation. (BREEAM® The Sustainable Construction Certification).
  • Retrofitting the existing building portfolio to obtain Breeam certification for properties currently in use.
  • Retrofitting the existing building portfolio for higher energy efficiency:
    • Solar panel installation: We offer our tenants the opportunity for self-consumption of the energy generated on the building rooftops.
    • LED lighting.
    • Roof insulation.
    • Exterior painting using colors with a TSR >30%. The higher the TSR value of a color, the greater the solar radiation reflectance, resulting in lower heat absorption across the walls and roof surfaces.
  • Landscaping and green area maintenance.

Social commitment to the community of the territory


  • Since 2023, we have been committed to sharing our success with the local communities where we operate. Consequently, we pledge to invest 1% of our turnover into driving social projects. Over the past three years, we have allocated a total of €71,000 to this cause.
  • We support guidance programs for youth vocational training tracks, with a primary focus on the construction and logistics sectors.
  • We achieve this alongside social organizations with solid track records and proven expertise in providing the aforementioned guidance.
  • We currently collaborate with the Reir Foundation (Vallès Oriental) and Main Foundation (Vallès Occidental).
  • Our commitment for 2026 is to donate €26,000.

  • Operation within full legal frameworks across all areas: legal, tax, labor, contractual, etc.
  • Selection of local suppliers (over 95% of our suppliers are headquartered within the province of Barcelona).
  • Payment to all our suppliers in less than 30 days.
  • Compensation policy that exceeds collective bargaining agreements.
  • The shareholders of Nausbcn 1989 S.L. are local individuals who fully comply with their tax obligations as citizens of Catalonia.
  • Beyond the executive management, there is a family council and a shareholders’ agreement in place. We are currently in the process of drafting a family constitution.
